Worldwide recognized for his dynamic stage presence, dark timbre and wide range of flexibility. During the 2025-2026 season Gaston Rivero will join the ensemble of The Metropolitan Opera. Upcoming engagements include the role of  Radames in Aida , Walter Corrado Wallenrod in I Lituani and the title role in Don Carlo at the Lithuanian National Opera,  Des Grieux in Manon Lescaut at Oper Köln, the title role in Verdi's Otello at Teatro Massimo Bellini di Catania, B.F.Pinkerton in Madame Butterfly with the Auckland Philharmonia and the role of Dick Johnson in La Fanciulla del West at the Hungarian State Opera Budapest.
